Bonding

Bonding

Dental bonding is a cosmetic dentistry procedure that involves the application of a tooth-colored, composite resin, or plastic, to repair a decayed, chipped, fractured or discolored tooth. In other words, materials 'bond' to the tooth by applying it to the tooth, sculpting it to shape, and polishing it to shine. Dental bonding is ideal for small cosmetic dentistry work such as fixing a small broken or chipped tooth or closing small gaps between teeth.  Bonding can be done is a single visit to our office.  Another, more permanent option, may be veneers, which are manufactured in our dental laboratory and require a customized mold for proper fit.
