Flossing

Flossing

Most people floss incorrectly – here is how to do it right!

There are some places in your mouth where a toothbrush can’t easily reach, which is why we recommend flossing at least once a day. Flossing prevents cavities by reducing the bacteria between your teeth, and it simulates the gums. First, hold the floss tautly, and gently slide it between each of your teeth and move it up and down about four times, being sure to dip it under the gum line. As you move from tooth to tooth, use clean sections of floss.
