A research article published by the Journal of Oral Pathology and Medicine published an article on recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS).
Researchers have studied (RAS) and have found a significant association of deficiencies of key vitamins and minerals. The short of it says hematinic deficiency has been found in (RAS) patients. Replacement therapy with hematinics for RAS patients with deficiencies of corresponding hematinics can result in a significant clinical improvement or at least a reduction in frequency and severity of their oral aphthous ulcers.
